In the gang film “Blood In Blood Out”, he played a role of the gang member as ‘Chuey’ from the Vatos Locos and in “Training day” as Sniper. Raymond usually played the role of the soldier in most of his movie. He has appeared in many series such as ‘Cagney and Lacey’, ‘The X- Files’, ‘Knots Landing’, Star Trek:’Deep Space Nine’, ‘ My Name IS Earl’, Nip/Tuck and CSI: Miami. Raymond made film debut in 1987 as ‘Sam’ in ” Maid To Order”. Later, he did tiny roles in action movies like “Under Siege” (1994), “Clear and Present Danger” (1994), “The Rock” (1996) and many others. It is assumed that Raymond Cruz began his career from theater originally. He loves his own company rather encircling with crowds. Raymond has accepted the fact that it takes lots of time to socialize with people. In 2008, on an episode of “The Closer”, he used his own bike which reflects his love and passion for biking. He thought of taking theater classes then after and joined the class in mid-twenties.
